Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Scope Architect ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Scope Architect is a product of Scope Architect LLC ("the Company"). These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company.

2. Fair Use Policy (FUP)

To prevent automated abuse and ensure performance for all users, the following Fair Use Policy applies:

  • Soft Cap: Generous monthly limits apply. Usage consistently exceeding plan thresholds will trigger an account review.
  • Authorized automation: AI coding agents connecting through our MCP server, Handoff API, or cloud sandboxes with valid API keys are a core, fully supported use of the Platform and are subject to plan limits and rate limits.
  • Restrictions: Scraping this website, circumventing rate limits or plan limits, sharing API keys across accounts, or using automation to abuse free allowances is prohibited and may result in termination.
  • BYOK: Bringing your own API keys (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, DeepSeek) removes platform credit metering. You pay providers directly at their published rates.

3. Intellectual Property

Our Property: The Platform, including the recursive scoping engine, Architect Chat logic, Builder Profile system, Agent Handoff exports, and accompanying UI/UX, are the exclusive property of the Company.

Your Property: Any project data, ideas, or specifications generated using the Platform belong to you. You grant the Company a limited license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

4. Subscriptions and Refunds

Subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. Lifetime plans are one-time purchases whose included platform AI credits are limited in duration as disclosed at the point of sale. Pricing details, billing terms, seat counts, and AI-inclusion details are disclosed at the point of sale. You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

5. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Scope Architect provides AI-assisted planning tools. While we aim for high accuracy, the Platform is provided "as is."

  • We do not guarantee that AI agents executing against Scope Architect specs will produce production-ready code.
  • We are not liable for software defects, integration failures, or business outcomes resulting from code produced by third-party AI agents using our exports.
  • Final verification of all generated scopes, acceptance criteria, and produced code is the sole responsibility of the User.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, including but not limited to Fair Use abuse, non-payment, or unauthorized scraping of this website.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
